The short version

I'm Terry Tenison. My friends call me Hoss. I've run my own insulation business in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee for over 4 years: attics, crawl spaces, spray foam, blown fiberglass, the whole trade. And my evenings looked the same as every contractor's evenings. Typing up estimates at the kitchen table, chasing invoices, and trying to remember who I quoted what.

I tried the software that was out there. Some of it was built for companies with an office staff I don't have. The rest was priced per seat, per month, forever, like I was running a Fortune 500 instead of a spray rig. None of it thought the way a contractor thinks.

So I built SayEstimate myself, because there was not an app out there that did what I thought it should, at a price that was reasonable. It works the way I actually work. You say the job, it writes the estimate in your own rates. The customer signs on their phone and pays the deposit before you leave the driveway. Invoices, reminders, scheduling, and the money going straight to your bank. The name says it: Say. Estimate.
